About us

Hi, I’m the founder of Compass Collars, and animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. From raising animals as a child to dedicating over a decade to working in the veterinary field, I’ve always been drawn to the ones others might overlook — the misunderstood, the challenging, the high-drive. They’re the ones who need understanding the most, and they’re the ones who inspire my work every single day.

My career in veterinary medicine spans more than 10 years and is still ongoing. I now travel across the U.S., combining my veterinary knowledge with hands-on behavioral and training support for clients, clinics, and canines alike. This mobility gives me the unique opportunity to bring compassionate, customized care to dogs and practices wherever it’s needed — one case at a time.

My passion lies with all animals, but working breeds hold a special place in my heart. I currently own and train both a personal protection dog (PPD) and a PSA sport dog. These experiences have shaped my deep respect for the power, drive, and loyalty of these dogs, and they continue to push me to be better — for them and for the people who love them.

Compass Collars was created from this dedication. It’s more than just a business — it’s a mission to help bridge the gap between misunderstood behaviors and meaningful connection. Through personalized behavioral consulting, obedience work, and real-world guidance, I aim to help each dog, handler team and veterinary professionals thrive — no matter where they are in their journey.

Whether I’m assisting a veterinary clinic, supporting a family with a complex behavioral case, or working one-on-one with a determined dog, my commitment stays the same: help one dog, one practice, and one person at a time.
