Maintaining a healthy body condition is an important part of supporting a pet’s comfort, mobility, and overall health. The Body Condition Scale Poster provides a clear visual guide to the nine-point body condition scoring system for both dogs and cats.

Featuring top and side views, the poster helps viewers compare visible body shape and common physical characteristics across five categories: emaciated, very thin, ideal, overweight, and obese. Brief descriptions explain changes in the ribs, spine, waist, abdominal tuck, and fat coverage, making the chart a useful educational reference for discussing healthy weight with pet owners.

Perfect for veterinary practices, shelters, rescue organizations, boarding facilities, groomers, trainers, pet nutrition professionals, and pet businesses looking for a clear, professional body-condition reference.
