Veterinary Relief Support
I provide professional veterinary relief services designed to support clinics during staffing shortages, vacations, medical leave, periods of growth, or other scheduling challenges. My goal is to integrate seamlessly into your team while maintaining the high standard of care your clients and patients expect.
With experience in both general practice and canine behavior, I bring a unique perspective that emphasizes patient welfare, client communication, efficient workflow, and low-stress handling techniques. I understand that every clinic operates differently, and I adapt to your protocols, culture, and expectations to provide reliable support with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Relief services are available for veterinary clinics throughout all states and may include routine appointments, surgical support, patient care, client education, behavioral guidance, and assistance with workflow management as needed. Whether you require coverage for a single shift, short-term absence, or ongoing support, I strive to be a dependable extension of your team.
A complimentary consultation is required prior to scheduling relief services to ensure that expectations, clinic needs, and scheduling requirements are clearly understood. This allows both parties to determine whether the arrangement is a good fit and helps ensure a smooth and successful working relationship.

General Practice Relief
Comprehensive support for routine veterinary appointments, including wellness examinations, sick patient visits, preventive care, diagnostics, treatment planning, medical record documentation, and client communication. I work to integrate seamlessly into your clinic's workflow while maintaining continuity of care and providing a positive experience for both patients and clients.

Surgical Relief
Support for surgical and procedural days, including patient evaluations, surgical case management, anesthesia oversight, perioperative care, recovery monitoring, and client discharge communication. I adapt to your clinic's protocols and team structure to help maintain efficiency, patient safety, and quality care throughout the surgical process.

Administrative & Operational Support
Additional support for clinics needing assistance beyond direct patient care. Services may include medical record review, protocol development, workflow evaluation, staff training, client education initiatives, behavioral consulting, inventory assistance, and other operational projects. This service is designed to help clinics improve efficiency, strengthen team performance, and enhance the overall client and patient experience.

Scheduling & Availability
A minimum booking of seven (7) consecutive days is required unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clinics are strongly encouraged to schedule coverage as far in advance as possible, as last-minute availability is often limited.
Prior to booking, a contractor agreement will be provided for review. Once coverage dates and services have been agreed upon, the agreement must be signed by all parties before shifts are officially confirmed and scheduled.
Overtime
Hours worked beyond the agreed-upon schedule will be billed at one and one-half times (1.5x) the contracted rate.
Payment Terms
Invoices will be issued upon completion of services unless otherwise outlined in the service agreement. Payment is due within seven (7) calendar days of the invoice date.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of traveling relief work and advance scheduling requirements, the following cancellation policy applies to all confirmed bookings:
Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to the scheduled start date will not incur a cancellation fee, excluding any non-refundable travel expenses already incurred.
Cancellations made 7–13 days prior to the scheduled start date will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled services.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled start date will incur a fee of 100% of the scheduled services.
Same-day cancellations or early termination of services once work has begun will be billed at 100% of the scheduled rate, including any travel days or minimum shift requirements.
The Hospital is responsible for all non-refundable travel expenses (including flights, lodging, and transportation) incurred prior to cancellation, regardless of notice period.
Cancellation fees are due within the standard payment terms and will be invoiced accordingly.
This policy applies regardless of changes in staffing, caseload, or hospital operations once services have been confirmed in writing. The cancellation fee will be discussed prior to booking. Any cancellation due to extreme weather or state/county emergency does not apply to the travel fee cancellation cost.
